When is a good time to have a new beginning? Does that mean you will not feel what you felt the night before? That all your worries will be fated away? Will you magically be the different person you always wanted to be? Well, I hope it works like that, but it does not. Remember, it’s not just about hoping for change; it’s about actively working towards it. You have to put in the work, and I have to put in the work if we really want something to happen.
I am going to be brutally honest like I have always been. I have neglected myself and my passions for a long time, and it shows. It does not matter how much I try to cover it up. You know you can feel the energy, which is fine. That means I am human with real emotions, and so are you. But you can also see that I keep trying and have not given up, that even if I repost my blog, I still show up every Sunday night.
Today, I want to talk about a new beginning because my soul has been telling me to move on, and that is what I have been doing. It also tells me to love myself a little more and to show up for myself the same way I will show up for someone else.
As I said, I have a lot of goals, and I will accomplish them all. My priority goal for this week and the rest of my life is to love myself more and care not just for my mental health (which I do very well) but also my physical health. That said, I am implementing a morning and night routine that I want to share with you so you can acquire all its benefits.
I posted an article about a million-dollar morning routine, but that was long ago. Since I neglected myself, I have not followed that routine for a long time, so I am creating a new one. So here it comes.
- I will go to the gym in the morning.
Going to the gym in the morning is scientifically proven to be more beneficial than going to the gym at night. Also, you will have all the energy to accomplish your tasks during the day. Something that I used to do before but I am changing now is going on my own terms. I would love to be one of those people who go to the gym at 5:00 am every day, have a routine, and follow it, like my little cousin; I admire her because she is consistent and dedicated to her goals. But I am different from that, so I will go to the gym in the morning, not as early as 5:00 am but around 10:00 am; on the days that I am off, I will do 45 minutes of cardio, and if my body feels like it wants to do something more then I will do it if that will be it. I am creating consistency and making it part of my life, which I will need to have a good life.
- Skincare Routine
I already have a morning skincare routine, where I clean my face and use some moisturizer, serum, and sunscreen; however, I want to create the same night routine as well or a little more complex. I have studied the benefits of gua sha, and you can really see the difference even in the first use. So I want to use it at night before going to sleep. This is for more than females; I feel males should care for their skin as well, or is it because I like soft skin? I’ll share a blog about the morning skincare routine and some gua sha techniques.
To conclude
Those are the two major things that I am incorporating into my life. Today was a good day for me to start implementing those changes.
Felling my skin glowing and all the energy that the gym gave me makes me rethink why I even stop going to the gym if it feels so good afterward; why do I stop taking care of myself and my appearance if I feel so good when I look good, why do we even stop doing the thing that we know is good for ourself and all we want is precisely that feel good about yourself and be happy? Why must we sabotage all the good things that could happen if we follow our good structure routines? Well, I have so many questions that I can’t keep going. But think for a minute; today is an excellent day to start new, and you know, and I know. We all know that it has to come from the inside, so look deep into your inside and decide today; today is the day to a good beginning.
With Love
